The Project Director, Technology is an executive level role accountable for directing complex technology transformation initiatives across the Bank for the Payment Operations Program (POP). The position provides strategic oversight, delivery governance, senior stakeholder engagement, and commercial leadership to ensure the POP Program delivers measurable business outcomes and uplifts technology maturity.
Requirements
- Extensive experience delivering large, complex, multi-stream technology programs in enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to engage, influence, and present to Executive Steering Committees and senior business leaders.
- Strong delivery background in infrastructure services, enterprise platforms, and technology uplift programs.
- Demonstrated experience managing scope, budget, workforce planning, and large program governance structures.
- Track record of managing and optimising strategic vendor relationships and commercial arrangements.
- Experience driving uplift of technology controls, risk maturity, operational processes, and end-to-end systems.
- A history of successfully leading large delivery teams with high engagement and clear accountability.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills suitable for senior executive audiences.
- Ability to simplify complex technical and delivery issues for clear strategic decision-making.
