Director, City Experience Team, WWC

Results for America is seeking a Director, New Cities to lead the What Works Cities New Cities portfolio. The role is responsible for supervising the Certification journey for cities new to the What Works Cities Network and ensuring fidelity to the WWC Standard. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, with a strong background in public-sector management consulting and/or municipal government.

Requirements

• Professional experience working within public-sector management consulting and/or municipal government
• At least 5 years prior experience direct supervision of full-time staff in multi-layer, complex teams
• Prior experience setting, forecasting & managing annual program budgets
• Prior experience cultivating funders & meeting fundraising targets
• Prior experience working with executive-level leaders in government, nonprofits, or philanthropy
• Strong program and people leadership skills
• Ability to translate data and evidence into actionable strategy, learning, and impact
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate confidently across diverse professional settings with a wide range of stakeholders and audiences
