Job Description
Retina Associates of Orange County is seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to join their team. This position involves pretesting, using electronic medical records, assisting with minor procedures, and assisting with patient care. The team requires individuals with strong people skills and good work ethic. They are located in Laguna Hills, Newport Beach, and Santa Ana.
Requirements
- Ability to complete thorough medical histories?
- Ability to measure accurate Visual Acuity and IOP?
- Ability to use an OCT machine?
- Knows how to use Electronic Medical Records system?
- Visual Field assessments?
- Terminology and uses of ophthalmic medications?
- Ability to interact with patients?
- Cleans and stocks reception and waiting lobby throughout the day?
- Experience with ophthalmic scribe/technician (Minimum 1 year)
