Paint/Body Worker I

Paint/Body Worker I responsible for prepping, sanding, buffing painted vehicles, taping and masking non-painted surfaces, and applying primer and paint.

Requirements

• Prepares vehicles for painting by sanding, buffing, and applying primer.
• Applies paint to vehicles and achieves a high-quality finish.
• Must have 1-3 years of experience in automotive paint prep and body repair.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to run dual action sanders, grinders, and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Must have knowledge of quality requirements to produce acceptable finish paint.
• Must be able to communicate professionally and follow directions.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to learn to mix primers and other paint products.
• Must be able to perform tasks within time standards and maintain quality standards.
• Must have general knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards.
