Rehabilitation Nurse

Registered Nurse: Nursing Unit Rehab. The position is available on the Day Shift (36/36 hours) in Abilene, TX. The Registered Nurse will provide compassionate, individualized care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or other health conditions requiring rehabilitation.

Requirements

• Deliver direct, patient-centered care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care based on scientific nursing principles.
• Utilize rehabilitation equipment and assist patients in recovery.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with hospital policies and ensure confidential handling of patient data (HIPAA).
• Participate in department committees, surveys, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Follow the standards of the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
