Job Description
RHA Health Services is hiring a IDD Habilitation Specialist to join their interdisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and a willingness to make a difference in their lives. The role involves conducting Quality Assurance assessments, developing personal outcome programs, and mentoring and modeling personal outcome programs for clients and home care staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Four-year degree in a human service field
- 1 year of experience with the population served
- Valid drivers' license and automotive insurance
- Ability to read and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- CPR, first aid, NCI and/or role specific certification (a plus)
