IDD Habilitation Specialist

We are hiring an IDD Habilitation Specialist to join our team at RHA Health Services. As a Habilitation Specialist, you will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to create and implement programs aimed at helping clients achieve personal outcomes. The role involves conducting Quality Assurance assessments, developing personal outcome programs, and providing training and feedback to home care staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Social Services, Special Education, or Psychology or related Human Services degree
• 1 year of experience working with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Valid drivers’ license and automotive insurance
• Ability to read and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• CPR, first aid, NCI and/or role specific certification, a plus
