Cook III

Rice University is seeking a Cook III to prepare a variety of foods in accordance with menu instructions and standardized recipes. The ideal candidate has experience working in a team environment and two years of related experience in a commercial kitchen environment.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Three years of food service experience
• City of Houston Food Handlers Certification
• Ability to read and understand standard recipes/production sheets
• Ability to detect scents and discern flavors
