Job Description
Ridgeline is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Order Generation team, focused on developing their Trade Order Management solution for the investment management industry. This role involves designing scalable components, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging AI tools for development velocity. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, proactive, and has a strong interest in technology and business.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong track record of designing scalable systems
- 3+ years working with buy-side order management systems
- Expertise in Java or Kotlin
- Strong foundation in computer science principles (degree in CS or related field preferred)
- Experience building in AWS environments (Aurora, Lambda, S3 preferred)
- Commitment to automated testing and engineering best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
