Intake Mental Health Technician

As a Mental Health Technician (MHT), you'll be an integral part of our treatment team, providing continuous care, supervision, and positive role modeling to patients across various age groups from adolescents to geriatrics. Your dedication as a Intake Mental Health Technician (MHT) will positively impact the overall treatment experience for our diverse patient population.

Requirements

• Accurately record vital signs
• Exercise judgment in patient interactions and report changes to the RN
• Follow therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team and provide information for development and revision
• Employ crisis-intervention techniques, conduct MHT-led groups, and use facility-approved CPI techniques
• Assist patients through discharge, guide in adjusting to life changes, and help with personal hygiene
• Comply with policies for a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment, practicing universal precautions and responding to patient care priorities
