Meat Department Manager - Retail Meat Cutting Experience Required

The Meat Department Manager is responsible for managing the Meat Department, promoting customer relations, and maintaining a high level of morale within the department and store. They must have previous meat experience and be able to perform a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, pricing, and merchandising produce products.

Requirements

• Certification required for operation of forklift and/or pallet jack.
• City, county, state, and/or federal certifications may be required including food handlers permit.
• Previous meat experience
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to write, speak, hear, and understand the spoken word to respond promptly to pages, requests, team members and guests.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 50lb or more.
