Staff Software Engineer, Platform Engineering

Rillet is an AI-native ERP that helps accounting and finance teams run numbers with speed, accuracy, and insight. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will own the architecture, infrastructure, and developer tooling that every engineer at Rillet depends on. You will set the technical direction for how we build reliability, security, and compliance into our systems from the ground up and shape the design and scalability of our external API.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering complex systems at scale
• Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, or developer productivity
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, observability tooling, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Comfortable driving technical direction across teams without relying on direct authority
• Actively incorporates AI tools into your day-to-day workflow and is always looking for new ways to apply them
• Drawn to hard, ambiguous problems and energized by building in an environment where the playbook is still being written
