Job Description
RingCentral is seeking a Senior Database Reliability Engineer to work on database reliability and performance using best engineering principles, operational discipline, and automation. The role requires on-site presence at our office 4 days a week to support effective collaboration and teamwork.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience running cloud-based SQL databases in large production environments
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Strong knowledge of SQL DBMS internals
- Experience with Liquibase
- Experience with database performance optimizations
- Data modeling and data design skills
- Experience with database migrations, patching, and deployment architecture changes
- Acquaintance with Linux and Unix shells
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management
