The primary responsibility of the Casino Cocktail Server is to provide elegant, warm, and responsive service to all guests while taking and serving beverage and food orders in a high-energy casino environment.
Requirements
- Greet and welcome all guests in a professional, friendly manner.
- Obtain beverage and food orders from guests and enter orders promptly into the point-of-sale system.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of house drinks, specialty cocktails, and menu items.
- Offer suggestions using upselling and suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with bartenders and kitchen team members to ensure order accuracy.
- Ensure assigned areas remain clean, organized, and free of clutter at all times.
- Assist in developing and maintaining personal clientele and guest lists; encourage table reservations and repeat visits.
- Support marketing efforts by participating in promotional activities, modeling programs, casino events, and maintaining a professional presence in social media campaigns as directed.
- Pose for photos and participate in publicity or media activities as requested by management.
- Perform cash handling duties accurately and responsibly, including maintaining a cash bank or impressed bank issued at the beginning of service.
- Maintain compliance with licensing and health and safety regulations.
- Exhibit thorough knowledge of property, venue offerings, and promotions to confidently answer guest inquiries.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
- Provide direction and assistance to support staff to ensure seamless service.
- Asist with bussing tables, running items, and setting tables as needed.
- Perform all opening and closing side duties based on shift assignment.
- Consistently maintain a polished, professional appearance in accordance with grooming and uniform standards.
- Adhere to all company, departmental, and health and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
