Job Description
Ripple is seeking a Director of Security Engineering to build and lead a dedicated team responsible for securing their products, infrastructure, and corporate IT systems. The role involves defining security strategy, mentoring engineers, and ensuring security is integrated into all aspects of the technology stack. Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in security engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership or management role in a crypto, blockchain, or FinTech space
- Expert-level knowledge of security architecture
- Strong understanding of cryptographic principles
- Experience with authentication and authorization standards
- Demonstrated expertise in IT security
- Experience with threat modeling methodologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience building high-performing security teams
