Senior Staff Software Engineer, Infrastructure

Rippling is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the evolution of its Developer Experience stack for the agentic era. The role will drive the technical direction for how engineers interact with the large codebases underlying the Business Operating System.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Significant experience operating at Staff/Senior Staff level
• Deep experience building and scaling distributed systems in high-growth SaaS environments
• Strong backend engineering depth; fluency in both statically typed and dynamically typed languages
• Experience influencing architecture and technical strategy across large organizations
• A track record of driving complex technical initiatives that span many teams
