Job Description
RISE is a mission-oriented business that accelerates internet for the Philippines. We're looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team in Cebu City. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable, reconciling the accounts payable ledger, and maintaining the integrity of the General Ledger.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an AP at least 2 yrs
- Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate comprehensive bookkeeping experience using software package(s) (Xero and/or QuickBooks experience an advantage)
- A passion for attention to detail
- A working knowledge of Word, Excel and general computer skills (e.g. email)
- Ability to learn fast and be hardworking
- Education in the finance or accounting field
- Familiar with complex accounting issues
- IFRS knowledge an asset
- Previous experience in AP an asset
