Apprentice Electrician

Rising Edge Group is an electrical contracting company looking for an Electrical Apprentice to assist with the installation and maintenance of low- and high-voltage equipment. The role involves working with high voltage equipment, installing time sensitive network and power cabling, and performing preventive equipment maintenance. Requirements

• Registered Electrical Apprentice (Construction or Industrial Electrician)
• Thorough knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) with BC Amendments, Technical Safety BC requirements, and WorkSafeBC occupational health and safety regulations
• Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
• Microsoft Windows, Office, and computer-based test equipment experience (asset)
• Ability to work comfortably at heights
• Ability and willingness to work out of town
• Ability to travel including travelling to remote sites
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
