Job Description
Rising Edge Group is an electrical contracting company seeking a Senior Commissioning Technologist to commission, test, and maintain primary and secondary power equipment in the field. The role involves mentoring and educating junior technologists and setting up and operating test equipment to diagnose and analyze performance of power delivery equipment on-site.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Field Testing and Commissioning
- Hands-on experience in substations (600V to 500kV) required
- Familiar with power transformers, high voltage switches, breakers, CT's and PT's, NGR, and Capbank
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
