VOLUNTEER

The Volunteer works in a specific area and under the direction of a designated supervisor, ensuring the safety, health and welfare of staff and students at all times.

Requirements

• Must complete all requirements to be an ‘Approved Volunteer’ before coming on site and being left alone with students.
• Must complete the Volunteer/Intern Application and Volunteer Agreement, sign and commit to the Oath of Confidentiality, Code of Ethics, Acknowledgement of Background Process, Acknowledgement of Child Abuse and The Drug Free Policies, Authorization for the Release of Medical Information.
• Must be 21 years of age unless pre-authorization has been provided by the Program Director.
• Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check and drug screen.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
