Team Leader - 3rd Shift - 25-417

Team Leader responsible for ensuring labor and materials are present to meet schedule attainment, maintaining a quality product, meeting targets for quality, productivity, uptime, on-time delivery, and cost, and driving continuous improvement in a World Class manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Ensure labor and materials are present to meet schedule attainment.
• Ensure a quality product is assembled and packaged according to customer specifications and standards.
• Meet/exceed all targets for Quality, Productivity, Uptime, On-Time Delivery and Cost.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment following 5S principles.
• Oversee cross training of assembly line workers; keep training matrix up-to-date.
• Track daily attendance & complete time sheets.
• Drive continuous improvement to achieve a World Class manufacturing environment through implementation of Rittal Production System (RPS).
• Interface with quality, engineering, buyer/planner to help resolve any production issues.
• Interface with internal suppliers (i.e. paint, fab) to resolve production issues.
• Actively participate in improving assembly operations; develop new ideas or methods to improve efficiency.
• Actively engage with peers, supervisors and management in creation of a positive workplace culture.
