Middle and Upper School Spanish Teacher (2026-27)

Riverdale Country School seeks an enthusiastic and collegial Spanish teacher with native or near-native fluency to teach Middle and Upper School students. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong disposition toward collaboration and ongoing professional learning, a commitment to holistic student support, and a passion for language learning, world cultures, and engaging with global perspectives.

Requirements

• Native or near-Native fluency in Spanish
• Masters degree or higher in a relevant field of study
• At least three years of Language teaching experience
• Demonstrated ability to effectively develop students' oral, written, and intercultural competencies
• Genuine commitment to nurturing inclusive and joyful learning spaces
• Demonstrated collegiality, collaboration, teamwork, and organization
• Experience with differentiated instruction and UDL in the Language classroom
• A desire to participate in community activities
• Fluency in the effective use of educational technologies
• Demonstrated commitment to equitable and inclusive teaching practices
