Medical Assistant - New Town Primary Care - Williamsburg

The Medical Assistant is responsible for patient care, technical, and clerical related functions under the direct supervision of the physician and practice manager. Maintains excellent clinical competency and adheres to standard clinical expectations. Assists with processing prescription refill requests, maintains medical inventory, and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Program Graduate, Medical Assistant
• 1 year Clinical experience (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC)
• CCMA - National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) - American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• Medical Assistant - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
• Medical Assistant (MA) - American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
