Medical Assistant - Orthopedics

The Medical Assistant is responsible for a variety of patient care, technical, and clerical related functions under the direct supervision of the physician and practice manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Program Graduate, Medical Assistant
• 1 year Clinical experience (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Upon Hire
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire
• CCMA - National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Upon Hire
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) - American Medical Technologists (AMT) Upon Hire
• Medical Assistant - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) Upon Hire
• Medical Assistant (MA) - American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) Upon Hire
