CMA - Orthopedics

The Medical Assistant is responsible for various patient care, technical, and clerical functions under the direct supervision of the physician and practice manager. They assist in maintaining excellent clinical competency, patient flow, and quality care while supporting operational needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Program Graduate, Medical Assistant
• 1 year Clinical experience (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC)
• CCMA - National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) - American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• Medical Assistant - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
• Medical Assistant (MA) - American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
