The Medical Assistant is responsible for a variety of patient care, technical, and clerical related functions under the direct supervision of the physician and practice manager. Is responsible for the clinic patient flow by assisting members of the patient care team and providing a wide range of health care services while supporting quality and safe care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Program Graduate, Medical Assistant
- 1 year Clinical experience (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC)
- CCMA - National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) - American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Medical Assistant - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- Medical Assistant (MA) - American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
