Patient Care Assistant Short Stay Unit-Part Time Nights

Part-time patient care assistant position available in the short stay unit, working nights from 7pm-7am. Must be able to perform tasks such as wound care, EKGs, phlebotomy, and extremity splinting. Promotes a safe work environment and adheres to national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• 1 year prior health care experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
• CPR/BLS Certification from AHA/ARC/ASHI
• Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) certification from VDHP or equivalent
• Ability to work independently and take direction from a charge nurse
