Job Description
The Medical Oncology Office Registered Nurse (RN) prepares and assists physicians or advance practice providers in the examination and treatment of patients in the medical office.
Requirements
- Prepare patients for physician examination
- Perform telephone triage, communicate and adjudicate physician/provider orders
- Perform phlebotomy, administer injections, immunizations and other special procedures
- Provide follow-up care for patients
- Perform Quality Assurance functions and procedures
- Maintain waiting areas, examination rooms, back office area, equipment and supplies
