Job Description
RIVR, a Swiss robotics company, is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and testing of robotic components. The role involves designing electro-mechanical assemblies, building prototypes, integrating electronics, performing testing, and creating hardware documentation, ultimately ensuring robots meet application requirements and are cost-effective for mass production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Engineering, Robotics, Automotive or Aerospace.
- A minimum of 2 years of industry or research experience.
- Experienced in CAD software for mechanical design.
- Deep understanding of actuators, motors, materials, design for manufacturing, power transmission, mechanisms, and manufacturing technologies.
- Good knowledge of rapid prototyping technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, adept at debugging and optimizing hardware components.
