Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant role at RMIT University Pathways, responsible for supporting financial accounting processes, including transactional activities, month-end and year-end reporting, and preparation of statutory accounts.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA/CA (or working towards)
• Demonstrated experience in financial accounting and external reporting
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, financial controls, and accounting standards
• Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail in data management
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality
• Experience with Workday or similar financial systems (desirable)
