Research Assistant/Research Fellow

Full-time, fixed-term position up to 12 months as a Research Assistant/Fellow at RMIT University in Melbourne. The role involves working on a cutting-edge project developing biomimetic adhesive and collaborating with research teams and external partners. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Tissue Engineering, Biomaterials, Biomedical Engineering, Cell Biology or related field, and experience in tissue engineering, biomaterials fabrication, and in vitro and in vivo studies.

Requirements

• PhD in Tissue Engineering, Biomaterials, Biomedical Engineering, Cell Biology or related field
• Experience in tissue engineering, biomaterials fabrication, and in vitro and in vivo studies
• Evidence of research output including publications, conference contributions, and/or technical reports
• Emerging track record and recognition for quality research outputs
• Demonstrated ability to supervise research students
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage varying workloads
