Job Description
The Insurance Agent is responsible for providing clients with comprehensive insurance solutions tailored to their needs, selling policies, and growing the agency's book of business.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Obtain Insurance license
- Successful completion of background check
- Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, memorandums, etc.
- Proficient with computers and standard office equipment
- Ability to present oneself in a clean, professional appearance and demeanor
- Provide courteous, knowledgeable and professional customer service both in person and on the phone
- Assume responsibility, display initiative, and exercise good judgment
- Display an ability to remain attentive and discreet
- Organizational ability and dependability
- Ability to work cooperatively with others as part of a formal or informal team to accomplish Insurance Agency goals; to respect the needs, ideas, and contributions of others
