Job Description
Maintenance Repairers are vital to Rochester Metal Products' production by troubleshooting and repairing foundry equipment. These positions are scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday twelve-hour shifts for a total of 36 hours, with an additional 18 hours paid as a bonus. Maintenance is Class AA, A, B, or C, with varying pay rates.
Requirements
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Pass Mechanical Testing.
- Ability to operate and use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Ability to work in high heat environments.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Knowledge and understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic and control systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience using LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out).
- Ability to work weekends.
- Good judgement and decision making skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of how to properly wear job required PPE.
- Ability to read, understand and follow work instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of how to properly work around PLC.
