Business Development Director (Aerospace)

Rock West Composites, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Director to drive new business in various industries, with a focus on custom composite products for DoD and Space clients. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in composites and/or aerospace sales, with a strong technical knowledge of aerospace and space structures.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in engineering or technical major
• Minimum 8 years of experience in composites and/or aerospace sales
• Experience of establishing budgets and/or tracking expenditures and profit
• Strong technical knowledge of aerospace and space structures; design, analysis, and/or fabrication
• Knowledge of composite materials including: tapes, fabrics and braids, prepregs, and/or resin infusion fibers such as carbon fiber, fiber glass, quartz, Kevlar resins such as epoxy, vinyl ester, cyanate ester
• Leadership Skills: Vision, passion, perseverance, and intensity
• Communication Skills – a relationship builder
• Curiosity, take risk - good navigator
