Job Description
Rocket Lab is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join their team and join their mission to unlock the potential of space for Earth. The role focuses on managing and maintaining configuration data for the Neutron launch vehicle program, ensuring consistency and accuracy of mission data for all systems involved. This is a critical role ensuring the completeness and correctness of configuration data across multiple teams.
Requirements
- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++
- Experience with Git, TeamCity, or Ansible
- Familiarity with a Linux based development environment
- Strong understanding of database design and management
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
