Manager – Neutron Software - IN NEW ZEALAND (Relocation provided)

Rocket Lab is seeking a Manager for Neutron Software on the Electron rocket to join their Space Systems division. The role focuses on leadership, technical guidance, and collaboration with teams like GNC and HITL, overseeing software development and deployment for neutron-related software. Relocation is provided for candidates in New Zealand. This is a hands-on role requiring a background in Software Engineering and leadership experience.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent knowledge
• 5+ years of relevant Software Engineering experience
• 2+ years direct leadership experience
• 2+ years program or project management experience
• Experience with deployment and CI tooling
• Experience with data processing and data engineering
• Proficiency in Git and working with issue trackers
• Experience with a system language such as C++
