Job Description
Rocket Lab is seeking a Team Lead for their Electron GNC (Genie Navigation Control) team, focusing on mission success. The role involves overseeing the entire launch system from design and optimization to software verification and launch operations. Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Aerospace, Electrical, or Software Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in aerospace/space systems and developing GNC algorithms
- Deep knowledge of orbital mechanics, rigid body dynamics, and control systems
- Strong skills in Python, MATLAB/SciPy, and simulation/flight software
- Proven ability to lead technical teams
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
