Senior Facilities Electrical Technician

Rocket Lab is an end-to-end space company delivering responsive launch services, complete spacecraft design and manufacturing, payloads, satellite components, and more – all with the goal of opening access space. The Facilities team is responsible for maintenance, operations, and improvements projects across locations, making sure that the facilities are well looked after and operating as they should. The Senior Facilities Electrical Technician is responsible for electrical maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, and electrical improvement projects at Rocket Lab's headquarters and Engine Development Center.

Requirements

• 8+ years of electrical maintenance experience in aerospace, automotive, medical device, or heavily regulated manufacturing facility
• High School Diploma, GED OR 12+ years of experience in electrical maintenance in lieu of diploma
• Experience with facilities systems and improvement projects
• Ability to remain focused while working in hazardous environments, while wearing appropriate PPE
• Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
• Able to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted
• Must be able to climb ladders and be comfortable working in tight spaces
• Must be able to move repetitively, bend or twist, and use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls
• Must be able to work at heights
• Must be able to operate scissor lifts/boom lifts
