Mechanical Maintenance Millwright

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Millwright to join the Operational Maintenance team in Grand Forks, British Columbia. The role involves providing mechanical and technical support to the production line, conducting repairs and maintenance on machinery and equipment, and working collaboratively with other trades and contractors.

Requirements

• Hold a valid BC Drivers License
• Minimum of Grade 12 education
• Red Seal Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years heavy industrial experience
• Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings and safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, making informed decisions to ensure safe operations
• Willingness and availability for overtime work on short notice
• Collaborative team player, working closely with other trades and contractors when necessary
• Own a set of quality tools capable of performing routine tasks
