The Activity Coordinator supports participant engagement, independence, and quality of life within the Rocky Mountain PACE Day Center by planning and facilitating person-centered recreational, therapeutic, and social activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in recreation therapy, social services, gerontology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with older adults, preferably in PACE, adult day programs, long-term care, or memory care settings preferred.
- National certification in activity programming is preferred (e.g., NCCAP or another nationally recognized certification).
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving requirements if assigned to outings or transportation.
- Ability to pass all required background checks, health screenings, and drug testing in accordance with PACE regulations.
