Recreation Therapist

Recreation Therapist responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive, outcomes-based recreation therapy program for the frail elderly, including daily documentation, program development, and participant interactions.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Recreation/Therapeutic Recreation required
• CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) required
• One year of health care experience with a geriatric population
• Minimum 2 years solid program development and implementation preferred
• Knowledge of the principles, practices, standards, and techniques of Recreation Therapy
