Requirements
- Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in compliance with IDEA timelines and requirements.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and create, monitor, and adjust Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Ensure accurate and consistent progress monitoring and maintain all required documentation.
- Deliver individualized instruction through push-in co-teaching in classes of 28 to 32 students and pull-out small groups typically ranging from 6 to 8 students, adjusting based on need.
- Implement research-based intervention programs such as Lexia Core5, RAP 95, PLL, and Zearn.
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff to ensure accommodations, modifications, and behavior supports are implemented with fidelity.
- Coach and support paraprofessionals in providing academic, behavioral, and adaptive interventions.
- Build strong, culturally responsive relationships with scholars and families that center inclusion, communication, and shared ownership of growth.
