Engineer, Application Development (AUTO)

We serve a global market with our MERACRYL methacrylates and PMMA molding compounds under the PLEXIGLAS brand (in the Americas registered under the trademark ACRYLITE), which we manufacture in our worldwide production network. Our products supply growth markets including the automotive, construction, and medical technology industries.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering/science discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in both the automotive and plastics industries.
• Strong background in polymer science and processing technologies (injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming).
• Ability to advise customers on processing conditions, troubleshooting, and mold/part design; CAE modeling proficiency required.
• Experience in lighting or medical markets is a plus.
