Job Description
We are seeking an Engineer, Application Development (MED) to serve as an expert driving product and application innovation for Röhm's Medical segment. The role will involve providing expert guidance on material qualification, product recommendations, and process optimization for new medical applications, as well as partnering with commercial teams to identify and close new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years in the plastics industry, with strong injection molding expertise
- Strong background in polymer science and processing technologies such as injection molding, extrusion, and thermoforming
- Ability to advise on molding conditions, troubleshooting, and mold/part design; proficiency with CAE modeling software required
