Job Description
Röhm is a leading supplier of methacrylate chemistry seeking a Manager, New Business Development to drive future growth and innovation in the Americas. The role involves leading new business development efforts, building market presence, and influencing next-generation product innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Optical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or technical commercial roles, ideally within plastics, polymers, or advanced materials.
- Proven success in customer-facing roles requiring strong engagement, relationship building, and solution selling.
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional, highly matrixed, multicultural environment, collaborating across technical, commercial, and global teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; highly self-driven and resourceful.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, SAP, and data analysis tools.
- Willingness to travel 50% or more, including occasional international travel.
