Roland Foods is seeking an Industrial Sales Specialist to contribute to the overall growth of a defined customer portfolio with a focus on existing Industrial Manufacturing Accounts. The role is responsible for driving incremental sales, defending existing business, and satisfying customer activities and organizational commitments. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong sales skills, food or ingredient sales experience, and a results-driven mindset.
Requirements
- 5+ years of prior account/sales management experience
- 5+ years of experience in industrial, food, or ingredient sales, preferably in a quota carrying role
- Ability to perform consistent outbound prospecting and new business development
- Background working with Food Manufacturers, Producers, Branded Manufacturers, Co Packers, Meal Kits, or Commissaries
- Proficiency using CRM tools, sales activity logging, and business intelligence/reporting tools
- Ability to travel up to 25% required
- Willingness to participate in trade shows and customer-facing brand initiatives when needed
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional internal teams (Supply Chain, Logistics, Revenue Management, Marketing, etc.)
- Strong communication and presentation skills in front of groups of all sizes required
- Organized, detail-oriented with strong technical writing skills required
