Job Description
Seeking a Deputy Security Manager to support the Security Department at Rosebel Gold Mines Site in Suriname, with experience in mine-site security, crisis management, and emergency preparedness.
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in security, law enforcement, or a related field (two-year program)
- First Aid certification
- Tertiary qualification and/or proven experience in crisis management and emergency preparedness
- Minimum 10 years of mine-site security experience
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience at a senior or management level, preferably in an industrial or mining environment
- Training and experience in crowd and riot control
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse workforce
- Excellent written and spoken English; Dutch is an asset
- Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 6 weeks on/ 3 weeks off
