Job Description
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for managing and supervising all areas of the store, following company policies, and ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal regulations. They will also be responsible for payroll administration, recruiting, hiring, training, and developing non-exempt associates, as well as maintaining a safe and secure environment and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment
- Ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize those tasks, give direction and follow through to completion
- Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments
