The IT Project Manager I is accountable for delivery of low to medium complexity projects with small to medium-sized teams. The Project Manager plans, initiates, and manages projects, establishing and maintaining project governance, workplan, resource plan, and budget.
Requirements
- Manages the production of project and workstream plans
- Plans and leads analysis and stakeholder consultation
- Identifies risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project
- Collaborates with IT Contracts and vendor on contracts management
- Coordinates with Telecommunications Vendors on contracts, pricing, and delivery of solutions
- Synthesizes information to aid in dissemination to key stakeholders
- Attends and coordinates attendance of meetings to ensure successful alignment of team members
- Drafts and delivers reports and presentations to evaluate progress and agree on plan and changes
- Leads a small to medium project team
- Builds the capability of the project team through training, coaching, and mentoring
- Executes stakeholder engagement activities
- Manages project resourcing, including staffing costs, forecasts, and variances
- Provides appropriate documentation and training to enable successful transition to business
- Identifies and records lessons learned
- Conducts assurance reviews within the project
- Leads post-project reviews and identification of lessons learned
