Supplier Quality Engineer

This is a key role in providing essential services for seeking a detail-oriented and professional Supplier Quality Engineer. You will conduct supplier audits and assessments, ensure compliance with quality standards, develop and implement quality control plans and programs for supplier materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in supplier quality assurance or a related role
• Ability to read and interpret engineering product drawings and associated specifications.
• Previous experience gained within an engineering/manufacturing business preferably working to ISO9001 standard.
• Fluent English
• Working experience of core quality tools (PPAP/APQP, 8D Problem solving, Control Plan, etc..)
• Internal Audit training against ISO9001:2015 standard.
• Understand modern manufacturing philosophies i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and quality management software
• Demonstrates the ability to work in stressful situations with difficult clients who are focused on an expeditious resolution.
